Behind the fact, the X-series has gone farther away: here the cameras are good, and the optics are sufficient - nothing more active than Fujifilm did not let out the rest of the lenses; Regardless of the record of Micro Four Thirds systems, Sony and Samsung are out - today Fuji is among the leaders in terms of the number of original optics created. An important feature of the GFX 50S is the often modular design. The exact price, obviously, is not named, but is expected to be less than 10,000 dollars for a kit-version with a 63mm lens f/2.8RWR. There is nothing to marvel at here - Fujifilm has been actively engaged in the development of medium format cameras and the introduction of lenses for the same Hasselblad in the "splashing" hours. The Japanese quickly took up the right, and at the Photokina exhibition, which took place in 2016, it was still possible to hold a pre-production image of the GFX 50S camera in the hands.

Fujifilm took it upon themselves to do a funny experiment and released the GFX system, completely ignoring the full-frame segment. Fujifilm's X Series has always embraced classic design, so it's no surprise that the GFX 50S has dwindled that philosophy around its body. Similar to the top-end X-series cameras, the GFX camera can be equipped with a Fujifilm VG-GFX1 battery pack, which provides at least an additional hour of work with another battery, as well as the stability of shooting when gripping vertically.

As a bonus, you will be able to charge the battery without losing any of the battery pack, but for whom you can buy a lot of chargers. In general, the design is like the camera itself, and the vertical grip often transfers to the robot with a tripod, so the battery sockets in them are stuffed in such a way that you can easily replace the battery without knowing the camera from the tripod.

In the middle of the camera Fujifilm GFX 50S captures greatness 51.4-megapixel CMOS-sensor with a size of 43.8 x 32.9 mm, which allows you to take pictures from the enemy's space 8256 x 6192 pixels. The size of the sensor is 1.7 times larger, lower in a 35-mm full-frame matrix, and 3.7 times larger, lower in the APS-C matrix, and in Fujifilm X-series cameras.

In view of the X-Trans sensors, which are equipped with the younger brothers of the X series, the GFX 50S matrix is ​​based on the traditional "Bayer" scheme. Although Fujifilm can't get by with a 50-megapixel sensor, the camera body as a whole can accommodate a larger 100-megapixel matrix, and it is not included that the line of GFX cameras can be expanded.

As you already know with representatives of the Fujifilm X-series, especially the X-T2, the control interface will not tell you the desired performance. From the visible changes, the respect is given to the choice of the capture mode - it has now moved to the Drive button.

Discs for choosing a video recorder and ISO, as before, on the ground and now, by analogy with the X-T2, they are equipped with a special stop button - a truly practical innovation, which has never been seen in the front generation of Fujifilm X-cameras.

The right-handed upper panel of the camera is embellished with a small RK display, which shows the photographer all the information about the exposure settings, as well as the balance of white, focus type, image type (RAW or JPEG) and the swimming filter simulator.

Touch screen control is common among Swedes, but Fujifilm can at once boast of being able to focus on the display, and here the X1D definitely outperforms its competitor. The image, like in rich smartphones, can be shriveled up and enlarged at a distance for help with your fingers.

In the Zone mode, you can select a 3x3, 5x5 or 7x7 zone for extended areas. Wide/Tracking mode is also in its own wide mode (Wide), in which GFX automatically selects the focus area in the area of ​​425 autofocus points, as well as the tracking mode (Tracking, with different focus mode AF-C), which covers the entire area with 425 pixels for object visualization. This function ensures uninterrupted focusing on an object that moves up and down, left-handed and right-handed, or sideways in the view of the camera. If you talk about medium-format cameras, then in the first place, that unprecedented quality of the image falls into the first thought, like the stench of the building. Even though the X1D does not come with Fujifilm's innovations, as a picture, it will definitely play with speed. The GFX 50S is easier on everything: the camera zooms in faster, focuses faster, processes files faster.

The GFX video camera is one of the best in the class, it has more room for more space, lower in X1D and with some relief from lag when panning the frame. The camera screen is larger and can reduce the transmission of color, an intuitive touch interface and can rotate the function, which adds versatility to the camera.
